After completing a Modern Languages degree at Cambridge University, I passed the ACCA examinations and started my professional career working as a forensic accountant for KPMG London in 2000. In 2005, I transferred to the Forensic department in KPMG in Cologne. After the birth of my eldest daughter in 2008, I decided to make a career change and turn my passion for languages into a job. I passed the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists in 2011 and have been working as a freelance translator and proofreader ever since.
