I am a mother of 2 kids and a wife. I look for balance and happiness in life. I love to exchange and meet new people and this is one of the reason i decided early to live an expat live. Discover new countries, different cultures and of course extraordinary people.
I started my career as flight test engineer at Airbus. I spent the first 5 years working on A380 flight tests and even delivered the first aircraft to Singapore Airlines. I will always remember the amazing and beautifull Singapore Airlines cabin crew training everyday in this big and empty aircraft !!!
Then i moved to Hong Kong with my husband and son. I joined Cathay Pacific airlines as manager for engineering. Not easy to be a women manager in this very male dominant industry. It took me a year to successfully convince my colleagues of my skills and competences. I successfully chaired the A350 entry into service within the fleet with an operational team of around 50 people to drive. Was a great experience that led me to its sister company HAECO.
HAECO is a aircraft maintenance and repair company. This environment is even more difficult than working in an airline. I found good male allies who trusted me and offered me a manager position after 9 months, first time it happened in this company (usually need to wait 2 years before being promoted). I was in charge of the safety, training, budget, and as well of digital transformation. I organised the first conference on Blockchain for aviation that led to the first MRO Blockchain alliance in aviation. This was very challenging but very rewarding as well.
Since a year and living now in Dusseldorf i decided to try a new career path and obtained master coach certification. I joined Iwibdus and third mentoring programme as volunteer. Let see where the future will bring me !!!!! "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get"
