A Story of Celebration
First Edition:
iwibdus was created with a clear goal — bringing international-minded
women together, tackling challenges, and celebrating women’s strength.
So, during the pandemic, we launched the iwibdus IWD Festival. On March
8th, in partnership with the IWD organization and following the theme
#choosetochallenge, we introduced “8 challenges” as a symbol of
strength and unity. This marked the first edition of our International
Women’s Day (IWD) celebration, showcasing our dedication to
empowering women and building a supportive community, even in tough
times.
The 2023 Chapter:
Fast forward to 2023, and our commitment to celebrating diversity stands
stronger than ever. The #BeDifferent #WeCelebrateYou theme echoed
throughout the month-long celebration, uniting both our cherished
members and the wider community. The diverse, global nature of women
in our network took center stage, and we encouraged all teams to offer
enriching experiences to both members and non-members.”

- The Membership & Welcoming Team’s Member’s Appreciation Party set the stage for excitement, engaging numerous women and laying the foundation for the month-long celebration.
- The Events Team secured high-profile speakers, with engaging discussions and branded bags marking a journey toward embracing equity and celebrating differences.
- The Mentorship Team’s online panel discussion highlighted unique benefits, emphasizing how women celebrate differences as immigrants to Germany.
- A workshop on self-confidence and authenticity beautifully showcased the value of diverse bodies, aligning seamlessly with our theme.
